Annual Platforms

[Excerpt from TT: 2002-04-25]

[Kathryn41] Do you have any advice on how we can identify what our own individual platforms are for the coming year?

[M_Entity] Yes, it is always a more personal and meaningful event to discover your Platform, rather than have it dictated to you from a channel. This is not to say a channeled Platform from us would be less accurate, but the personal process of looking at your own life can be quite invigorating and inspiring.

To determine your personal platform for a time frame (in most cases, from May to April), we would suggest these steps:

1) During January through April, but especially in April, note as accurately as you can what theme you find to be behind your most distracting experiences.

2) When you have noted the theme, usually apparent through a list of symptoms blatantly experienced, identify the absolute WORST CASE SCENARIO of what you have the ability or inability to do within those symptoms.

3) In identifying your WORST CASE SCENARIO, then identify what VERY SIMPLE SOLUTION may alleviate the fear/stress of the theme. This VERY SIMPLE SOLUTION may or may not be something you truly “want” or find appealing, but you would be able to see it as truly being a Solution, at least to the anxiety and stress of the worst cases.

4) Find a phrase or word that best describes that Very Simple Solution, and you will most likely have an accurate approach to your Platform.

[shelleyessences] Clarification please: on the meaning of “distract from your initial step.”

[M_Entity] When we said “distracting,” we mean those experiences that seem to be taking you away from a larger, more appealing progression of your life. Of course, they are not distractions, as ANYTHING in your life that you experience IS your life.
