[JNelson] What is guilt?
[M_Entity] Guilt is pointless self-punishment. It is entirely based in Chief Feature. There are 7 Guilts, then, linked to each Chief Feature. It is a prolonged version of “learning a lesson.” We have shared extensively on this subject and Troy will include in this transcript a copy of our deeper treatment of that subject.

[merlyn] I have been feeling a great sense of fear / angst as of late, I am not sure why exactly and I am fairly sure it isn’t all coming simply from me, so I am curious, is this me picking up on a general fear that seems to be pretty pervasive in the world at the moment and if this is the case, how does one deal with it?
[Excerpt from TT: 2001-05-03]
[Leela] It seems as though we may be in for some “Interesting Times,” as it were. Perhaps I am too attached to Fear, but I can’t help but wonder if there is anything we as individuals might need/want/choose to do to protect ourselves through tumultuous events. Or am I misreading the energy report?

[rvolkman] While living in the physical plane, we are faced with choices that may raise fears and cause us to avoid doing things that we believe we truly want to do, or even to become “frozen in place”. Knowing that we are completely safe as timeless souls, how can we integrate that knowledge and “feel” that safety at all times and in all things?
[Michael Entity] It is quite difficult for most Personalities to reconcile the reality of the Essence’s absolute safety vs the temporary, often painful, reality of being Physical as a Personality within a short period of time and space. Even the oldest of souls can be terrified of death, danger, and pain.
[Michael_Entity]: “Guilt” is simply another funnel for the manifestation of the Chief Features. Guilt is fear-based and, although a valid method for experimentation, does little in regard to what it appears to be accomplishing, which is determined by most as “learning a lesson”. Many believe Guilt helps generate a certain amount of consciousness about ones behavior, but from our perspective, it is a false awareness.
