Troy Tolley, Channel

[Michael Entity] Hello to each of you We are here We will begin by taking the first question.

[Question] Please speak to the phenomenon of feeling being out of touch and un centered, as in with my channeling, sense of self, my body etc, of course this can be interpreted fairly generally. As I am certain we all experience this periodically.

[Comment] yes I’m feeling the same way–so it would be a help to me, too.

[Michael Entity] We can only respond to this in a general way, but we believe it will help shed some light on our older students However, even if we were to respond to each individual case, this generality would still stand as a fair foundation for understanding the experience you describe. What you describe appears to us to be a distorted form of self-defense. We know of no older students extant surrounding themselves with strong support and feedback from other older souls. Most of our older students surround themselves by early Mature souls as a primary context, at best. This does not mean one cannot find support in that circle, or that support does not exist from a few older souls, but that your primary contexts are far younger in perspective. The older soul grows weary of adapting and adjusting actions, feelings, insights, interactions, etc to accommodate the younger souls around them.

Older souls are more than willing to adapt and adjust, but this does not mean that you do not grow weary. Imagine the adult who happily accommodates the toddlers and teens for months on end with no other adults with which to relate. It is really no different. This process of adaptation can lead one to begin to question the validity of one’s own identity, one’s sense of self, and one’s presence as it is expressed FOR the world vs expressed FOR WHO one is.

[Question] What then does “distorted self defense” mean? Weariness?

[Michael Entity] The distorted self-defense is in the internalizing of this disconnect; this weariness; this sense of a gap between WHO you are and HOW you are. Rather than face the utter truth of your uniqueness and old soulness, you tuck it away, kept in check, tamed, and compartmentalized. Or it is protected through a drop in socializing, interacting to any depth, hiding, tucking your entire Being away from the world because you know you cannot undo who you are. We describe this as “distorted” because, in truth, it is not necessary to go to such depressing and debilitating lengths to preserve, restore, or reclaim one’s sense of self.

[Comment] Wow! I would attribute it to 1001 other things before this, thank you!

[Michael Entity] The gap between WHO you are and HOW you are can grow so vast that the only way to “shrink” that gap is to close yourself off from the world that takes you so far from who you are.

[Question] Is it more pronounced after the 4th IM?

[Question] I assume this could apply to any soul level?

[Question] Or during the going thru the 4th?

[Michael Entity] The depth of this feeling can be pronounced at any point within the life, at any soul age or level, though the paradigm at any given time contributes the greatest impact on whether one feels this, or not. In other words, Baby and Young Souls may feel this similar experience, but not to the depth and extent that a late mature or old soul will within this period and predominant society paradigm. The further one’s soul age is from the current paradigm, the more likely one can have this experience. Late Young and Early Mature souls are “the most comfortable with themselves” at this time, but that is a strong generality that cannot be applied truly or meaningfully, since the Mature Soul Age inherently questions, “Who am I?” The older souls (mid-mature through old) can do well to turn this distorted self-defense into an empowered resource of self-empowerment, instead.

We will explain: The greatest source of pain when experiencing the gap between your soul age and the predominant soul age is the resistance to the truth. Pain is always a form of resistance, and in this case, it is a resistance to the truth. Many truths arise in the gap between soul ages, especially for the older, reflective, sensitive souls. Many of the truths are general, such as “you ARE different.” That “you are different” is a fact. You are not like the others who seem to move so easily through the current paradigm. This truth is similar to a 50 year old in the midst of teens finally acknowledging, “Okay, yes, I am NOT a teenager. I am different now.” You ARE different. However, much of what you believe equals “different” is from the Young Soul paradigm that imprinted you.

Different = bad, unwanted, unacceptable, incapable, shameful, embarrassing, obnoxious, outcast, too old, outdated, uncool, etc. Different can also pull from another side of the Young Soul paradigm and equate with “Smarter than, Better than, More Spiritual, Special, Above, Bothered, etc.”

Each of you who experience this gap will find your ways to defend yourself, but it will most likely be rooted in your distortion of a truth similar to your “being Different.” Yes, you are different. Yes, you sometimes need a break. Yes, you are older, wiser, kinder, and smarter in many ways. Yes, you are sometimes unwanted, unacceptable, obnoxious, an outcast, too old, not cool. Yes, every aspect of “different” is yours to own. Nevertheless, being “different” is not unique to you, and this is where the turn of consciousness can come in making the distorted self-defense into a resource of empowerment. If there is ONE thing that connects you to all around you, it is the fact of your each being DIFFERENT It is the common ground upon which all of you walk. The Older Soul in the Young Soul paradigm tends to fall into the trap that this is a bad thing or a better thing, but it is simply a thing; a part of nature.

So your first steps in dealing with this disconnect from self and the world around you is in acknowledging the truth of your being DIFFERENT and in that profound acknowledgement, you will most likely feel within you the resistance to this as something you hold as a Bad thing or a Better thing.

Your next steps then would be in looking at the other truths that have surfaced within that gap. And by “truths” we mean your personal level of truths that can change. Many of the “truths” that come up in that gap are the truths handed down to you about you from other people, or from your experiences of the past that are now outdated. If a “truth” comes up that is derogatory, it is not your truth. It is as simple as that. No fragment has the capability for self-hate, self-loathing, self-denial, self-condemnation without exploiting the fuel provided by someone else’s truths. If you think/feel “bad things” about yourself, you have sourced these from outside of you. You have hijacked the concepts and used them against yourself, but they are not your weapons.

This is why feeling disconnected, bad, self-distracted, etc., can be so exhausting and debilitating because it takes a lot of effort to hold up the shaky walls of other people’s truths against yourself. It takes a lot of lying and dishonesty, because your truths about you are loving, supportive, invigorating, imaginative, creative, playful, and light-hearted. It is true that all fragments can hold harsh thoughts about one’s self, but not for long. The default of sentience is loving. To do otherwise is exhausting, but possible. It is also true that all fragments can hold harsh thought about others, but not for long without exhaustion. Therein lies why one begins to close down. The less interaction one has within and without, the more easily one can hold these false truths in place without contradiction.

There is much more we can speak about on this topic, as we know all of our students suffer from this to some degree, but this gives a foundation for the beginning of some self-reflection and exploration.

[Question] Can Michael give some perspective on the current economic crisis?

[Question] How do you see its effects for the future at this time?

[Michael Entity] We cannot and will not predict, but we can share our perspective of the patterns, as they appear to be unfolding at this time. Our perspective of the “crisis” is one that we see as a “good thing” in that it coincides precisely with the shift in Soul Age and with the shift in Global Platform from one of DEBT to one of CHOICE. The United States originated from Mature and Old Soul values and systems, but quickly fell back into the processes of the Young Soul paradigm because the Young Soul inhabitants under the older souls eventually began to run things.

Now that the world paradigm is shifting into Mature Soul values and systems, it makes sense to us that structures based in Debt and Young Soul ideals would begin to transform. However, the process of a shift from Young to Mature has high potential for drama, as that is the nature of the Mature Soul. The current economic crisis is moving to a global level because the global consciousness is shifting Economy exists in physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual realms, so as one dominant structure shifts, all levels of currency and exchange will shift. Debt-based economy is no longer of interest to the majority of souls on your planet, but what kind of economy to move into has not been clarified or secured, yet.

Most simply know that “something” is “not right” and “something” needs to change. The single, most powerful medium for change for all fragments on the planet is economic at this time No other medium could affect change and evolution to the extent that an economic overhaul could bring. This also makes sense to us as a planet moves out of a Young Soul paradigm. The dominant soul age uses the relevant, predominant medium as a transition. For instance, when the shift from Baby to Young happened, it was a religious medium.

[Question] Rise of the Catholic Church?

[Michael Entity] Partially, yes.

[Question] What might it be from mature to old then?

[Michael Entity] Most Mature-to-Old transitions happen as a “tragedy-to-comedy” transition. The medium of sensitivity gives way to hilarity. What was once seen as tragic can often be seen as quite comical. Most of this sense of humor comes from the fact that the Older souls are solution-based, and not drama-based. Knowing that there are always solutions usually lends the Old Soul to less drama.

[Comment] Sounds like the end of the movie V for Vendetta, with fireworks destroying the Parliament building.

[Question] Economics is strongly tied to power — those with the most money are the most powerful and controlling of others. Since Debt is a fake power structure, will there be a substantial shift in the new power structure to accompany the economic shift?

[Michael Entity] We would not call the current power structure “fake,” though we would say that deceit and reliance on lack of questioning is its foundation, and yes, an overhaul of structure in terms of power, or leadership, is intrinsic.

[Question] Why would a young soul to mature economic paradigm be debt to choice?

[Michael Entity] We do not equate the Mature paradigm to that of Choice; it “just so happens” that the current 100-year platform has shifted as well from debt to choice. We see these as being reflections of one another, but it could have easily been another platform. The platform relates to the collective intention for what “playing field” to share. This Century Platform explores the sensitivity for the choices one makes, the choices of others, the expansion of choices, and the structures that are important within the vastness of choice.

[Question] How does this change affect the current superpower countries of the world, the US the G8?

[Michael Entity] We cannot predict the shift in “superpowers” (which is a weak construct and definition in itself), but we can say that higher probabilities show a “leveling” out of powers as each shares responsibility for the global economy. China and Russia may attempt a “flexing of muscle” once or twice, but this doesn’t appear to be well-received of effective, as the “flexing of muscle” in a Mature Soul paradigm is seen as irresponsible and unnecessary, since most are moving into a shared perspective of consideration for each other anyway. When the paradigm of competition falls away, the concept of “superpowers,” or power, in general, changes or falls into the hands of all.

[Question] What does it mean for the monetary system? Will it be removed?

[Michael Entity] We do not expect that the monetary system would change too drastically, too quickly. More likely is the importance of its use more responsibly. The removal of a monetary system is inevitable, however, as the Mature Soul Age progresses closer to the Old Soul Age, but that is quite a time away. Old Souls do not use a monetary system. In fact, many of our Older students find as many resourceful ways as possible around this, even if the quality of life suffers a bit. Old Souls are perfectly capable of “playing the game” of the Young Soul paradigm, but many have opted for inheritance, hand-to-mouth, welfare, kindness and generosity. No way is nobler or better than another, of course, but we add this aside as many of our students abhor the current monetary system and suffer from its imposition.

[Question] On a lighter note, I recently (12 weeks ago) had a child. What general recommendations can you provide on raising children?

[Michael Entity] There is a multitude of responses we could share for that question. For simplistic purposes, we will share three key considerations:

1. One can never give too much constructive, positive attention and affection to an infant, toddler, or teen. Their cries, tantrums, and rebellions are not power plays, but relevant methods for communicating need, want, and pain, however inconvenient those may be.

2. Most “negative” behavior exhibited from a child before the age of 18 is an extension of the fears of the caretakers (parents). Addressing your personal methods for handing fear, for transforming Chief Negative Features, is far more effective in helping and guiding a child into adulthood than through active intervention of their behavior.

3. Honest Communication: Paying attention to what a child emotes, expresses, and does is your most direct source of information about the Essence of the child. Responding to a child with a platform of honesty and clarity encourages wholeness of self.

[Question] I would like Michael to share anything about being an old soul in Norway and the overleaves of the country and anything about N’s part in the shifting paradigm.

[Michael Entity] We would think that being an Old Soul in Norway is quite cozy. This is officially a Mature Soul country, but predominantly late-Mature and early-Old. As Young Soul paradigms shift across the globe, countries that exhibit a combination of wealth and peace will most likely stand as beginning models for implementing long-term changes.

[Question] Firstly, I did a follow-up question on the Energy issue and used the term “fake” structure for Debt. My meaning was that there is a vast difference between actually owning assets and being in debt for them. Hence, power erodes as debt increases; although, the appearances of power remain. Much has been written over the past several decades that the “true” power behind all governments has been the Trilateral Commission, a group of extraordinarily wealthy industrialists, bankers, politicians, and academics from around the world. They claim their purpose is to foster worldwide cooperation. In theory, their cooperation should have prevented the economic collapse, except some of the members appear to be major players or contributors to the deregulation that caused the crisis. What is the true role of the Trilateral Commission?

[Michael Entity] The so-called “Trilateral Commission” is more powerful in title than in effect. Manic egos conceived poorly this attempt at globalization and could not herd all of its members efficiently or effectively. This organization is short-lived and will most likely lose what little structure and momentum it had going for it.

We will conclude here. Goodbye.
