Questioning Authority

[Excerpt from TT: 2002-04-25]

[ShannonB] There is much in the national news right now, about pedophilia in the Catholic Church. By all accounts, it seems to have become a crisis almost overnight, when this has undoubtedly gone on for hundreds of years. What is bringing this issue to the forefront at this time? Is this just one more instance of a dogmatic religion crumbling under its own weight in the face of the new Soul Level?

[M_Entity] Yes, Shannon, you are quite accurate in your perception. This is a major shift in perception of the “sanctuary” of religion as an unquestioned resource and authority. Baby and Young Souls would NEVER question the institution. Mature Souls, in their own internal questioning of where they fit in on so many levels, find it natural to question establishments. The recognition of personal, emotional boundaries is a hallmark of the Mature Soul, and some of the more Mature Souls have experienced these boundaries violated. The irony of Intimacy and harmony is that the path toward it is paved with identifications of very personal boundaries. Many long-standing institutions acting as authorities and leaders are being humbled as the Mature Soul populates the planet. This will allow the Church and Religion to possibly move toward a more genuine personal relationship, rather than as a political machine.
